The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodwin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Malfoy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Malfoy tries a head kick but it misses.
Malfoy looks to land a combination. Goodwin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Carlton Goodwin has been cut.
Goodwin has closed the distance and engaged Malfoy in a clinch.
Goodwin fails to pull guard.
Malfoy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Malfoy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Malfoy tries to circle away but Goodwin has him pinned against the cage.
Goodwin is looking to break free of the clinch but Malfoy has double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
