Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benny Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideki Masada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bishop comes to the cage accompanied by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk Dubstep Remix. Masada has chosen "Tokyo Drift (Restage Remix)" by Teriyaki Boyz as his entrance music. Benny Bishop is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Benny Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideki Masada!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masada shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bishop's guard.
Bishop is pulling down on Masada's head. It's preventing any offense from Masada, at least for the moment.
Bishop has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Masada won't allow Bishop to sweep him here.
Masada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bishop swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bishop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Masada doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Masada manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Masada is looking to work some ground and pound but Bishop has wrist control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bishop had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Masada defends it easily.
Bishop avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Masada really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bishop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Masada wants to pass the guard but Bishop is keeping the position.
Masada postures up.
Bishop keeping moving, preventing Masada from controlling successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bishop managing to control the position.
Masada trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Masada won't allow Bishop to sweep him here.
Bishop pulls Masada in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hideki Masada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Masada looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bishop manages to get to full guard.
Bishop bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Masada's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Masada preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bishop wants to pass the guard but Masada is keeping the position.
Bishop is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Masada is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bishop in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Masada throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bishop is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bishop stands and steps away. Masada gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Masada gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bishop advances position into side control!
Bishop throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Masada is looking to regain half guard here but Bishop keeps moving and retains side control.
Bishop trying to control the position but Masada is working away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bishop is trying to get an arm triangle but Masada is defending well.
Masada takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benny Bishop dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bishop pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bishop missing with a left hand there. Masada was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Masada throws a big counter head kick but Bishop avoids it with no problem.
Masada checks a leg kick.
Masada steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bishop.
Bishop throws an overhand right that lands on Masada's shoulder, as Masada tries to avoid the shot.
Masada lands with a nice combination. Bishop backs away looking to recover.
Bishop throws a body punch but Masada moves out of range.
Masada moves out of range of the body kick.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bishop enables Masada to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bishop manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Bishop controls Masada momentarily but Masada frees himself.

Bishop has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Masada should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bishop has tightened it up now! Masada should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
