Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magnus Soderstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soderstrom has chosen Base 10 - new day as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderstrom thows a body kick. King tries to catch it but that hurt him.
King misses with a double jab.
Soderstrom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Soderstrom misses with a looping right.
King will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
King throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

King swings for the body but Soderstrom moves out of range.

King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Soderstrom sizes up King with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Brian King has been cut.
Brian King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Soderstrom cracks King with an uppercut from hell and King crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Soderstrom's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

King is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
King has control of Soderstrom's left arm, preventing Soderstrom from doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
The fighters circling - King throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
King throws an overhand right that lands on Soderstrom's shoulder, as Soderstrom tries to avoid the shot.

King ducks straight into an uppercut from Soderstrom and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - King maanges to regain guard straight away.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Soderstrom throws a front kick aimed at King's knee but King avoids it well.
Soderstrom throws a shot from downtown. King moves away and avoids it.
King's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and King duly obliges.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A slow jab from Soderstrom misses its intended target.
King scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Soderstrom bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Soderstrom swings and misses with a shot to the body
and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

King lands a lovely overhand right.

Soderstrom is rocked!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
King lands an uppercut, right on the button! Soderstrom tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
