Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dalinar Kholin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Belt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Belt is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dance of the Knights. Dalinar Kholin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dalinar Kholin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Red Belt!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belt shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kholin defends it nicely.
Kholin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Belt manages to circle out of the way.
Kholin misses with an uppercut.
Belt fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kholin tries to counter by clinching up but Belt breaks away and moves out of range.
Belt slips a jab and a cross from Kholin.
Sloppy strikes from Kholin. Those never looked like landing.
Belt with the counter takedown but Kholin avoids it easily.
Kholin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Nice takedown defense from Kholin. No joy for Belt on that attempt.
Kholin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Belt's head.


It looks like Red Belt has been cut.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kholin tries to counter by clinching up but Belt breaks away and moves out of range.

Kholin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Belt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kholin pinned against the ropes. Kholin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Belt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Belt.

Belt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kholin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Belt has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Belt tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Belt has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Belt working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Belt lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kholin down.

Belt tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Belt in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Sloppy strikes there by Belt.
Kholin gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kholin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Belt is trying to control the action in half guard but Kholin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Belt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Belt is trying to work for a kimura but Kholin is defending well.
Belt uses his free foot to push down on Kholin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kholin.
Belt trying to control but he's not successful this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Belt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kholin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belt somewhat.
It looked like Kholin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Belt tries for a takedown but Kholin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kholin lands a high kick!
Belt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Belt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kholin feints and then cracks Belt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Belt down.

Belt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kholin is fending him off so far but Belt persists. Nope, Kholin circles away and we're back to standing.
Kholin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Belt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kholin circles away.
Belt shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kholin as he avoids it easily.

Kholin closes the distance and pushes Belt back into the ropes.
Kholin works on Belt's body with a couple of short punches.
Kholin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Belt can do to turn this around?

Belt tries to score a body lock takedown but Kholin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Belt leaves his chin hanging out and Kholin seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Belt crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
