Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tunton Hong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeff Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tunton Hong!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li lands with a good body shot.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hong.
A jab from Li finds it's way through Hong's defenses.


It looks like Tunton Hong has been cut.
Hong throws a body punch but Li moves out of range.
Hong takes a swing at Li's ribcage but misses.

Li drops Hong with a beautiful combination! Hong stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Li is looking for the KO!


Hong is rocked!
We've been told by Li's head coaches at Alpha Elite Private Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hong throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Hong is still on wobbly legs! Can Li finish him?
A slow jab from Li misses its intended target.
Hong misses with a looping left.
Li just misses with a punch to the body.
Jeff Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Li misses with a few strikes there.
Hong seems to have recovered his senses.
A clash of legs there as Li blocks the low kick.
Li throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Hong to counter with a crisp jab.

Li cracks Hong with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hong looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Li finish him?
Hong throws a wild body kick that Li sees coming a mile off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Li. Hong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Li throws a right and a left that Hong avoids nicely.
Li throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Li throws a lazy right hand but Hong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hong is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Li with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hong.
Hong walks into a left hand.
Hong punishes Li's body with a nice straight punch.
Good work by Li as he checks the leg kick.
Li swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Hong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hong has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hong there as he acknowledges the shot.
Li misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hong misses with a body kick.
Li swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hong only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Li blocks the body kick.
Hong scores with a nice right hand.
Hong throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Hong attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Li connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hong. Hong circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hong dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Li. That did some damage!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Li steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Hong is out on his feet! Li sets himself and nearly takes Hong's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jeff Li!
Jeff Li spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
