The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weight throws an overhand right that lands on Couture's shoulder, as Couture tries to avoid the shot.
Couture looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Couture looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Weight is looking to clinch but Couture is avoiding it.
Couture keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Weight misses.
As Weight backs off Couture throws a huge counter combo but Weight manages to avoid it all.
Weight tries to clinch but Couture moves out of range.
Weight tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Couture paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Weight throws a big shot that misses.
Couture doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Weight misses with a left hand
and Couture counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Weight tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Couture counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fighters circling - Couture throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weight scores with a nice strike.
Weight is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Couture misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Weight.
Weight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Couture manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Couture now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Weight throws a right hand that misses
and Couture counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Weight badly! Couture follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Weight out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Couture finished him against the cage.

Matt Couture tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
