The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko punishes Johnson's body with a nice straight punch.
Marko takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Johnson lands a jab to Marko's midsection.
Marko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marko there as he acknowledges the shot.
Marko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Chubby Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marko sizes up Johnson with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Marko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I was talking to Johnson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Johnson digs a right hand underneath Marko's ribcage. Marko let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Johnson creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Marko out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!
