Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kimroy Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paha Hemmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kimroy Hoo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paha Hemmo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hemmo throws a sloppy body shot

and Hoo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Hemmo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hoo prevents it.
Hoo blocks an elbow strike from Hemmo.
Hemmo is trying to pull guard but Hoo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hoo lands an uppercut.
Hoo lands a body punch in the clinch.
Hoo tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hemmo avoids it.
Hoo misses with a knee to the head.
Hoo cracks Hemmo with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hemmo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hemmo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hemmo throws a big elbow that misses.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hoo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hemmo moves away.
Hemmo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Hemmo misses with an uppercut.
Hemmo tries to bum rush Hoo with a series of wild strikes but Hoo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hemmo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hoo - the referee stops the clock and Hemmo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hoo. Hemmo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hemmo.
As Hemmo backs away, Hoo returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Hoo lands with a shot to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hemmo or perhaps it was just good defense by Hoo, which made it look bad.
Good work by Hemmo as he checks the leg kick.
Hoo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hemmo looks to throw the jab but Hoo is out of range.
Hemmo looks for a takedown but Hoo sprawls well.
A combination from Hemmo does no damage.
Hoo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Hemmo lands a jab to the nose.
Hemmo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hoo thuds a left hand into Hemmo's body.
Hemmo misses with a series of wild punches.
Hoo is looking to land body kicks.

Hemmo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hemmo drops his hands momentarily and Hoo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Hemmo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hoo napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Hoo manages to get back to half guard.
Hemmo is nestled in close to Hoo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hemmo wants to free his trapped foot but Hoo is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hoo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hemmo.

Hemmo shoots for a double leg takedown but Hoo sprawls well. He's pushed Hemmo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Hemmo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kimroy Hoo will probably get the nod.

Hemmo drops back looking for a leg! Hoo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hoo manages to kick Hemmo off! Hemmo jumps back into Hoo's guard.

Hoo is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Hemmo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hoo can pounce on him.
Hemmo is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Hoo rather than just go for the knockout.
Hoo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hoo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Hemmo if he has to take too many more of those.
Hemmo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hoo moves away.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kimroy Hoo showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hoo, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
