Le Croix moves in looking to clinch but Ortiz pushes him off.
Ortiz keeps the fight on the outside.

Ortiz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ortiz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Le Croix, who protects the arm well.
Le Croix is trying to get back to half guard.

Le Croix might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ortiz kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Ortiz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Le Croix is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ortiz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Le Croix's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

No joy there for Ortiz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ortiz looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Le Croix is defending well. Ortiz quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Le Croix has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Ortiz celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
