Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodolfo Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramsay Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vieira comes to the cage accompanied by BJJ song . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rodolfo Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ramsay Snow!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow fails with a takedown attempt.
Vieira has been working on his boxing with his coaches at #1 Amsterdam in the buildup to the fight.
Ramsay Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snow takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Snow with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vieira to score with a decent uppercut.
Vieira scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Snow gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vieira.


That has opened up Ramsay Snow's cut even more.

Vieira moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Snow goes down! Can Vieira finish him!?

Vieira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vieira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vieira passes Snow's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Snow seems to have recovered his senses.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Snow is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vieira pulls his head out easily.

Vieira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Snow does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Vieira is trying to control the action in half guard but Snow is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Vieira uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Vieira bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Snow's head backwards.
Vieira looks to throw the jab but Snow is out of range.
Vieira throws a looping overhand right but Snow ducks down to avoid it.
Vieira is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Snow takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.


The cut above Ramsay Snow's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Snow dives in and scores a takedown into Vieira's guard.
Vieira lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Snow dives in for a single leg takedown but Vieira sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Snow takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Vieira clinches.
Snow tries for a takedown but Vieira manages to get underhooks.
Vieira works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Vieira takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Snow tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Vieira smiles and moves away.
Rodolfo Vieira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramsay Snow.
Snow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Vieira lands a nice looking body shot.
Snow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Snow is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Snow doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vieira bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Snow's head.
Vieira lands with a shot to the body.
Vieira works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Snow takes one on the button.
Vieira lands an overhand right.


Ramsay Snow's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Vieira pounces like a tiger and cracks Snow with a vicious hook! Snow is down but not out! Vieira follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Rodolfo Vieira!
In his post fight interview, Rodolfo Vieira started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
