The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablos looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Silva is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Silva lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Pablos has been working on his balance at SFC the dungeons mma, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Silva.
Pablo Pablos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Pablos or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva, which made it look bad.

Pablos shoots in but Silva avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pablos shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Pablos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silva unleashes a big counter combination but Pablos bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
