Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Drummond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cletus Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Conrad Drummond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cletus Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Drummond is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jackson distracts Drummond with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jackson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Drummond working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Drummond is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.
Jackson wants to pass the guard but Drummond is keeping the position.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Drummond has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Drummond's legs - danger averted.
Jackson wants to control from the top but Drummond keeps moving.
Jackson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Drummond had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jackson defends it easily.
Drummond trying to keep a closed guard but Jackson is proving a slippery customer.
Jackson is looking to advance position but Drummond has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Drummond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jackson is squirming around, avoiding Drummond's attempts to control the action.
Drummond sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Drummond looking for a guillotine from mount but Jackson is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drummond landing punches.
Jackson can't escape the position.
Drummond tries to control but Jackson wriggling away.
Jackson has given up his back. Will we see Drummond going for some submissions?

Drummond is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Jackson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

A lull in the action here.
Drummond missing with punches from the back.
Jackson staying busy and making it hard for Drummond to control.
Jackson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jackson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Conrad Drummond dominated that round.

Jackson shoots in but no luck this time.
Drummond has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jackson.
Drummond shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Drummond gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Drummond.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Drummond was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Drummond appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Drummond ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drummond avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Drummond appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Drummond throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Drummond tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Jackson gets caught flat footed, as Drummond shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jackson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jackson wants to control from the top but Drummond keeps moving.
Drummond avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Drummond wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jackson is now in half guard.
Jackson scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Jackson wants to take a breather but Drummond is having none of it.
Nice strikes from Jackson there.
Jackson is keen to just control but Drummond is a slippery customer.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jackson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Drummond moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Jackson passes Drummond's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Conrad Drummond overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jackson drops an elbow to the side of Drummond's head.
Drummond is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jackson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Drummond keeps working.
Ground and pound from Jackson.
Drummond trying to control from the bottom.
Drummond is pressing down on Jackson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Drummond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Drummond on his heels. He'll look to pass Drummond's guard now, I'm sure.

Jackson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Drummond has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jackson is looking to defend but Drummond has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jackson! Drummond pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jackson taps out and this one is all over!
