Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dirt McGirt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Quarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGirt comes into the arena with Shimmy Shimmy Ya blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirt fails to land with a series of punches.
Quarry drops down looking to force a counter takedown but McGirt defends it well.
McGirt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

McGirt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Quarry was covering up waiting for the punch and McGirt finishes the takedown easily into guard.
McGirt working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
McGirt tries to free his leg and advance position but Quarry is retaining full guard.
McGirt throwing strikes from guard but Quarry blocks nicely.
McGirt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quarry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Our spies down at at Pitbull MMA (9 Elites - $400) inform us that Quarry has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

McGirt throws a left that rocks Quarry and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! McGirt dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Quarry regain composure!

McGirt lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Quarry! McGirt senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Quarry out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
