The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Montgomery as Oz shoots in.
Montgomery tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Oz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Montgomery as he avoids it easily.
Montgomery tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Montgomery moves in looking to clinch but Oz pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Montgomery looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oz shoots for a double leg takedown but Montgomery sprawls well. He's pushed Oz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Elmer Montgomery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Whizzer Oz.
Oz lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
