Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Y Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horstl Strobn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti lands with a shot to the body.
Strobn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gotti pinned against the cage. Gotti gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gotti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gotti stuffs the takedown attempt from Strobn. Strobn gets slowly back to his feet.
Y Gotti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gotti scores with a hook to the body. Strobn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Gotti throws a nice looking combination but Strobn bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gotti will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gotti tries to bum rush Strobn with a series of wild strikes but Strobn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gotti is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Strobn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gotti tries to avoid it but Strobn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gotti to the ground. Gotti escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A punch lands to the side of Strobn 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gotti lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gotti throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Strobn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gotti is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Gotti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Strobn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gotti circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Strobn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gotti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Strobn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Strobn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Strobn shoots for a double leg takedown but Gotti sprawls well. He's pushed Strobn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Strobn might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Gotti has got the better of the exchanges.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Strobn walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gotti digs a good body shot into Strobn's ribs.

The fight stays on the outside here - Strobn looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Strobn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Strobn wants to control from the top but Gotti keeps moving.

Gotti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Strobn on the ground.
Strobn is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gotti is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gotti has escaped and now he's on top!
Strobn looking for a guillotine here but Gotti defends easily.
Gotti wanted to stand there but Strobn had control of the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Strobn has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Gotti should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Strobn has tightened it up now! Gotti should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
