Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rui Rodrigo Germano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren McCarty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Germano comes to the cage accompanied by Black Flood Diesel - Lost Cause. Rui Rodrigo Germano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rui Rodrigo Germano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren McCarty!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Germano misses with a shot to the body
and McCarty counters with a nice kick to the body.
Germano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
We've been told by Germano's head coaches at Weed Nation that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Germano misses the body punch
and McCarty counters with a right hand to the body.
Germano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCarty.
McCarty connects with a solid leg kick.
McCarty lands a leg kick that knocks Germano off balance momentarily.
Rui Rodrigo Germano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Germano swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCarty counters with a thumping low kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Germano or perhaps it was just good defense by McCarty, which made it look bad.
Germano stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Germano has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Germano there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Rui Rodrigo Germano has been cut.
Germano shoots for a takedown but McCarty saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McCarty stuffs the takedown attempt from Germano. Germano gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rui Rodrigo Germano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McCarty smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McCarty fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Germano has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Germano has his takedown stuffed
and McCarty counters with a leg kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Germano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McCarty - the referee stops the clock and Germano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McCarty. Germano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Germano is breathing heavily.
McCarty throws a nice inside leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - McCarty finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
McCarty lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Germano at a distance.
McCarty turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheers as McCarty lands an impressive looking overhand right. Germano doesn't seem phased though.
McCarty lands with a good body shot.
McCarty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Germano.
Germano is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Germano jabbing away but nothing is landing.
McCarty feints a counter leg kick.
McCarty scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Germano rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McCarty counters with a body kick that stops Germano in his tracks momentarily.
Germano with a lazy takedown attempt
and McCarty counters with a nice right hand that sends Germano toppling to the canvas! Germano scrambles and gets back to his feet - can McCarty finish him?!
Germano is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McCarty connects with a body shot.
Oh Germano is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCarty connects with a solid leg kick.
McCarty steps in with a hook that catches Germano right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! McCarty follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Germano looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darren McCarty!
