Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Lennox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lennox comes into the arena with This Life blaring out of the sound system. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Lennox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Robertson! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Lennox. Lennox scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lennox wants to work for an arm triangle but Robertson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Lennox is looking for a kimura here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Robertson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lennox is working away from the top position though. Lennox gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Lennox throws out a powerful jab. Lennox fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Robertson sprawls well initially but Lennox persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Lennox thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Robertson's head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lennox connects with a nice short shot to Robertson's temple. Lennox throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Lennox is looking for a kimura but Robertson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lennox to get the leverage. Lennox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lennox takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Robertson pushes Lennox off looking to stand but Lennox dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lennox decides to stand up. Lennox uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Robertson. Lennox stuffs the takedown attempt from Robertson. Robertson gets slowly back to his feet. Robertson misses the jab. Lennox shoots in and bounces Robertson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lennox drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Lennox as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Robertson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Lennox! Nice submission victory there!
