And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Friedrich Nietzsche!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nietzsche is looking to slow Bulleit down with leg kicks.

Nietzsche throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bulleit takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Bulleit tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nietzsche was well out of range. Poor timing from Bulleit.

Bulleit looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bulleit looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nietzsche with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bulleit lands with a punch from half guard.
Bulleit frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nietzsche wants to control but Bulleit is having none of it.

Nietzsche really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bulleit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bulleit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bulleit cracks Nietzsche with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bulleit jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nietzsche manages to avoid the submission attempt.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bulleit is on top in guard.

Bulleit stands up over Nietzsche, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bulleit wants to control from the top but Nietzsche keeps moving.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bulleit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
