Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clark might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rent a Wreck. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 22 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jack Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takeshi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Takeshi shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Takeshi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Takeshi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Clark misses with a hook
and Takeshi counters with a single leg into guard. Clark didn't expect that. Takeshi wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving. Takeshi is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Clark keeping moving, preventing Takeshi from controlling successfully. Clark will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Takeshi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takeshi stopping the sweep attempt from Clark. Takeshi throwing strikes from guard but Clark blocks nicely. Takeshi wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Clark lands a lovely overhand right. Clark throws a series of punches but Takeshi moves out of range. Clark drops his hands momentarily and Takeshi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Takeshi misses with a takedown attempt - Clark sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Takeshi slips a straight right by Clark. Takeshi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Clark quickly recovers to half guard. Clark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Takeshi on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeshi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Clark doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Takeshi. Takeshi trying to control from half guard but Clark is working away. Takeshi trying to control from Clark's half guard. Clark has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Takeshi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clark works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeshi passes Clark's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Clark wants to sweep but Takeshi has passed to side control! Clark is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Takeshi working away. Takeshi trying to control the action but Clark is working from the bottom. That's four minutes gone in the round. Takeshi uses his free foot to push down on Clark's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Clark. Takeshi throws some wild stikes that Clark manages to avoid easily.
Clark can't escape the position.
Clark avoids a strike by Takeshi and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Takeshi's guard! Fantastic escape!
Takeshi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Clark is one step ahead there. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Clark wants to control from the top but Takeshi keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichi Takeshi dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Takeshi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takeshi. Clark swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Clark throws a body punch but Takeshi moves out of range. Takeshi shoots for a takedown but Clark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Clark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Nice defenses there by Takeshi. Takeshi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clark as he avoids it easily. Jack Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ichi Takeshi. Clark clobbers Takeshi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeshi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Clark swivels and escapes. Clark staying out of range there. It looked like Clark was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Takeshi. Clark with a jab. Clark cracks Takeshi with an open hand slap. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Takeshi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Clark is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark takes a swing at Takeshi's ribcage but misses. Nice uppercut there from Clark. Clark throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Takeshi sees it coming and avoids it easily. Clark is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Takeshi lands a nice shot to the body.
Clark defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Takeshi. Takeshi rushes Clark and presses him up against the cage. Clark is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Takeshi tries for a takedown. No joy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takeshi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clark gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takeshi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Clark pulls his leg out and moves away.
Clark is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Takeshi can do to turn this around? Takeshi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jack Clark is winning the standup battle so far. Takeshi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clark throws out the jab. Clark waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takeshi. Takeshi looking to score a takedown here. Clark is defending well but Takeshi drives through and ends up in Clark's guard. Takeshi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark keeping moving, preventing Takeshi from controlling successfully. That's four minutes gone in the round. Takeshi slips nicely into half guard. Clark avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Takeshi. Takeshi scoring with strikes to the body and head. Takeshi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jack Clark dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Clark lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Clark takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Takeshi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clark was well out of range. Poor timing from Takeshi. Takeshi slips a straight right by Clark. Clark misses with a hook. A punch combination from Clark misses. We've been told by Clark's head coaches at Demon's Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Takeshi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Takeshi closes the distance and clinches up with Clark, looking for a takedown. Takeshi pushes Clark against the cage but Clark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Clark lands an overhand right. Clark throws a body punch but Takeshi moves out of range. Takeshi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Takeshi closes the distance and clinches up with Clark, looking for a takedown. Takeshi pushes Clark against the cage but Clark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A looping hook to the body misses from Clark. Takeshi does a little dance to reset his feet. Clark leaves Takeshi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. An attempted straight right counter from Clark misses the target. Jack Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ichi Takeshi.

Takeshi slips under a jab from Clark. Clark misses with an uppercut. Takeshi saw that one coming. Clark feints a jab promting Takeshi to slip. Clark then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Takeshi slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Clark cracks Takeshi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sloppy strikes from Clark. Those never looked like landing. Clark misses with a straight left. Takeshi fails with the takedown. Clark was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Clark misses with a looping right. Clark tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takeshi was well out of range. Poor timing from Clark. A jab from Clark misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark swats away the attempt to clinch by Takeshi. Takeshi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Clark. Clark throws a hook but Takeshi avoids it easily. Clark misses with a straight left. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Takeshi fails with the takedown. Clark with a body punch. A glancing blow. A slow jab from Clark misses its intended target. Clark fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Takeshi fails in his attempt to clinch. Clark walks into a left hand. Nice takedown defense from Clark. No joy for Takeshi on that attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark misses with an uppercut. Takeshi saw that one coming. Takeshi closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Clark's guard. Takeshi trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Takeshi drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Takeshi as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Clark screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Takeshi! Nice submission victory there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Ichi Takeshi! Our winner, Ichi Takeshi, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
