The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donalds fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Lion moves into the clinch.
Donalds presses Lion against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Donalds working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Lion fails to pull guard.
Donalds prevents the takedown attempt.
Lion tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snoop Lion. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Donalds lands a body punch.
Lion is breathing heavily.

It looks like Snoop Lion has been cut.

Donalds throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Donalds lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Donalds unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Lion! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Donalds is unloading with more strikes now! Lion drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Donalds!
In his post fight interview, Mac Donalds started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Snoop Lion was interviewed post fight and said 'Time to hit a blunt... puts everything in perspective...'.
