Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Heart Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James drops his hands momentarily and Breaker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
James shoots in looking for a takedown but Breaker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Breaker appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Breaker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck James on the side of the head.
James shoots in but Breaker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
James dives in for a single leg takedown but Breaker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Heart Breaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David James.
James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Breaker's waist but Breaker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side.
James avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
David James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Breaker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
James dives in and grabs Breaker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Breaker pushes down on James's head and hops out.
Breaker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between James's hands.
Breaker swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Breaker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Breaker throws out a powerful jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Breaker gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heart Breaker!
