Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Heart Breaker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David James! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James drops his hands momentarily and Breaker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. James shoots in looking for a takedown but Breaker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Breaker appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Breaker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck James on the side of the head. James shoots in but Breaker avoids the takedown attempt easily. James dives in for a single leg takedown but Breaker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Heart Breaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David James. James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Breaker's waist but Breaker gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. James avoids a lazy jab quite easily. David James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Breaker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from James.
James dives in and grabs Breaker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Breaker pushes down on James's head and hops out. Breaker connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between James's hands. Breaker swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Breaker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Breaker throws out a powerful jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! James gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Breaker gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Heart Breaker!
