Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cosmo Carboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menezes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Charlinho, o menino que só queria estudar - Hermes & Renato kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menezes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Menezes on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Carboni takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Cosmo Carboni has been cut.
Menezes misses with a looping left.
Carboni takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Menezes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carboni.
Menezes needs to keep his hands up - Carboni had a free shot at his head there.
Menezes misses with a hook
letting Carboni counter with a right hand.
Menezes is rocked!
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Menezes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Carboni makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Menezes is still on wobbly legs! Can Carboni finish him?
Menezes looks winded!
Carboni misses with a head kick.
Menezes seems to have recovered his senses.
Carboni cracks a nice hook into Menezes's ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Menezes switches off momentarily and Carboni cracks him with a monster right hand! Menezes topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Carboni dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Carboni!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cosmo Carboni!
