Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keon Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Newton Carlos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cash might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Unsung. Carlos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Break Stuff kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keon Cash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Newton Carlos! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cash misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carlos, pushing him back against the cage. Cash has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Carlos is trying to keep an underhook but Cash manages to get the takedown into half guard. Carlos wants to improve his position but Cash is controlling well.
Carlos makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Carlos. Cash preventing the sweep. Cash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carlos is proving hard to escape from. Carlos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cash manages to get himself to full guard.
Cash looking to control but Carlos passes into half guard.
Carlos is working for a submission of some sort.
Cash wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlos is working for a submission of some sort.
Cash is looking to control Carlos's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cash avoid being mounted? Cash is looking for a sweep. Carlos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Carlos trying to mount his opponent but Cash defends it. Carlos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cash doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Carlos. Cash wants to get back to full guard. Cash avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Carlos.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cash won't allow Carlos to pass to mount. Cash is trying to stand up here but Carlos is controlling him well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Carlos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cash. Cash fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Carlos is out of range. Carlos looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cash! Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Cash is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Cash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carlos on the ground. Carlos with shots to the head and body - Cash looks very uncomfortable down there. Cash takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Cash tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Cash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cash is breathing heavily. Carlos looking to control but Cash is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Cash bucks Carlos off and manages to get back to his feet! Cash attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Cash throws an overhand right that lands on Carlos's shoulder, as Carlos tries to avoid the shot. Cash misses with a series of wild punches.
Cash wants to clinch up but Carlos keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Carlos fails with a takedown attempt. Cash misses with a head kick.
Carlos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Cash throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Newton Carlos dominated that round. That's time! Cash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Carlos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cash. Cash closes the distance and clinches. Carlos has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Cash avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carlos shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cash as he avoids it easily. Keon Cash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Newton Carlos. Carlos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carlos swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cash stuffs the takedown attempt from Carlos. Carlos gets slowly back to his feet. Carlos closes the distance and clinches up with Cash, looking for a takedown. Carlos pushes Cash against the cage but Cash circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cash connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. A head kick misses from Cash. Cash punishes Carlos's body with a nice straight punch. Carlos is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carlos misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Cash throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Newton Carlos has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cash misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cash throws a series of punches but Carlos moves out of range. Carlos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cash but Cash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carlos takes a kick to the side of the head. Cash swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cash looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Cash just misses with a punch to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Carlos.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Cash. No luck for Carlos with that takedown attempt. Cash tries to clinch but Carlos is having none of it. Cash misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keon Cash dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Newton Carlos's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Cash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A nice combination there by Cash.
Cash throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

An inside leg kick from Cash misses. No joy there for Cash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Carlos connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Carlos shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Carlos was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Carlos looking to finish Cash with some ground and pound. This is bad for Cash! Cash is working to get back to half guard.
Carlos lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Cash is in a horrible position here. Carlos smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Carlos lands a big elbow. Carlos lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cash keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Carlos jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cash manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash is trying to get back to half guard. Carlos swings around for an armbar but Cash sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Carlos's guard. Cash is looking to work some ground and pound but Carlos has wrist control. Carlos working for a triangle but Cash defends it easily.
Cash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carlos is proving hard to escape from. Carlos looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Cash passes into side control.
Cash decides to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Cash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cash misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carlos.
Keon Cash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Carlos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Carlos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cash defends it well. Cash is not content to let Carlos control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Newton Carlos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Carlos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
