Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chiyono Fuji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garcia Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega cracks Fuji with an open hand slap.
Fuji throws a shot from downtown. Vega moves away and avoids it.
Vega jabs Fuji right on the nose. Fuji blinks but takes it well.
Fuji throws a leg kick that misses.
Fuji seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fuji moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fuji punishes Vega's body with a nice straight punch.
Fuji throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vega stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fuji digs a good hook to Vega's body.
Vega misses with a right hand
letting Fuji counter with a right hand.
Vega missing with a left hand there. Fuji was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fuji gets cracked there but stands up to it.

It looks like Chiyono Fuji has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vega throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vega takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Fuji throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vega steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Fuji.
Vega drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Vega rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Fuji to counter with a crisp jab.
Fuji loads up on a big right hand but Vega slips the punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuji swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vega throws a lazy uppercut
and Fuji counters with a right hand to the body.
Vega misses with a double jab
and Fuji counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Vega tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Vega steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fuji.
Fuji lands an overhand right.
Vega misses with the combination.
Fuji blocks a low kick nicely.
A jab from Vega misses.
Vega misses with a left hand
and Fuji counters with a left to the body.
Fuji lands a slapping body shot.
Vega takes one on the button.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Fuji. Vega does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vega wants to counter with a clinch but Fuji pushes him away.
Vega on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vega misses with a right hand
and Fuji counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vega thinking.
Vega looks winded!
Fuji lands a nice looking body shot.
Vega keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fuji scores with a decent looking hook.
Fuji jabs Vega to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fuji lands a jab to Vega's midsection.
Vega takes one on the button.

Fuji lands a big uppercut and Vega crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vega looks OK. Fuji waves Vega back to his feet!

Vega is rocked!
Fuji throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Vega is still on wobbly legs! Can Fuji finish him?
Fuji lands a body shot.
Vega seems to have recovered his senses.
Vega might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
A bone on bone clash there as Fuji blocks the leg kick.
It looked like Fuji was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Vega.
Vega is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Fuji just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Vega has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chiyono Fuji!
