The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohamed throws a left and a right that both miss
and Zoranovic counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Zoranovic manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

It looks like Milan Zoranovic has been cut.
Zoranovic closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mohamed is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mohamed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zoranovic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mohamed wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Zoranovic.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mohamed can do anything to dispel that myth.

Zoranovic is striking well from the back but Mohamed escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.

Zoranovic creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mohamed sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Milan Zoranovic decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
