Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Louie Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moch Ronik! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ronik manages to avoid it. Duran changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ronik tries to avoid it but Duran manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ronik to the ground. Ronik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ronik misses with a takedown attempt - Duran sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Duran dives in and scores a takedown into Ronik's guard. Ronik has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Duran doesn't defend quickly enough and Ronik has managed to lock this one up! Can Duran escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ronik on a fantastic submission victory.
