The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Korotkov.
We've been hearing reports that Pablos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Korotkov connects with a looping right hand.
Korotkov shoots for a takedown but Pablos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Pablos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Korotkov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pablos defends well.

Pablos is looking to take a break and control but Korotkov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Pablos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Korotkov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Pablos. Oh but Korotkov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Pablos goes limp - he's gone! Korotkov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
