Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niklas Brink!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Watson!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Watson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brink tries to avoid it but Watson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brink to the ground. Brink escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Brink counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The fighters circling - Brink throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Watson shoots for a takedown but Brink saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brink seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Niklas Brink has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Watson.

Brink wants the takedown. Watson is fighting it off but Brink persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Watson's guard against the cage.
We've been hearing good reports from Brink's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Brink is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Watson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Watson's back!
Brink is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Watson is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Brink off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Watson is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Brink's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Brink is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Watson has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Brink has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Watson taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Brink doesn't care though - he's delighted!
