Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seifer Almasy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almasy comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Mages - Force Your Way. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seifer Almasy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
32 - 45 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almasy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kim's guard. Kim wants to sweep here but Almasy controlling him for the moment. Kim has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Almasy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Almasy trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom. Kim trying to keep a closed guard but Almasy is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Almasy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Almasy trying to control but Kim is working from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Almasy pushes Kim up against the cage in a clinch. Kim goes for a takedown attempt but Almasy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Almasy throws a big counter combination but Kim scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Almasy closes the distance and clinches. A frustrated look appears on Kim's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kim throws a head punch that misses. Kim drops down looking for an ankle pick but Almasy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Almasy moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Almasy misses with a hook from the clinch. Almasy tries to throw a body punch but Kim avoids it by throwing Almasy back against the cage. Almasy throws a knee to the head but misses.
Kim drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Seifer Almasy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim. Almasy trying to land knees to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kim has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Kim is working for takedown but Almasy is calmly controlling the position for now. Almasy with an attempt at a knee that misses.

It looks like Jin Kim has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Almasy misses with a punch to the body.

Kim is trying to drag Almasy to the mat but Almasy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kim looks winded! Kim is looking for a takedown. Almasy with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Almasy throws a right and a left that both miss. Kim gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Almasy to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kim tries to land a sweep but no joy. Almasy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Almasy trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim trying to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Almasy's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Almasy wants to stand but Kim has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kim is controlling Almasy's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Almasy tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kim feints the counter takedown. Seifer Almasy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Almasy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kim is staying active underneath Almasy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Almasy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Almasy wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy. Almasy trying to control the pace. Almasy trying to advance position but Kim counters by regaining guard. Kim pulls Almasy in to control the position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Almasy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kim tries to roll over but Almasy keeps him under control. Almasy content to control rather than advance. Almasy is keen to just control but Kim is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Almasy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Almasy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Almasy misses with a head shot. Kim uses the momentum to regain guard. Kim keeping moving, preventing Almasy from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Almasy tries to clinch but Kim is having none of it. Almasy closes the distance but Kim moves to the side and Kim counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Almasy! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Almasy is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kim fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kim tries to bum rush Almasy with a series of wild strikes but Almasy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Almasy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Almasy tries to clinch but Kim moves out of range. Kim swats away the attempt to clinch by Almasy. Kim feints the counter takedown. Seifer Almasy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Almasy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kim fails with a takedown attempt. Kim tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Almasy was well out of range. Poor timing from Kim.

Almasy is pressed up against the cage. Kim has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Almasy down to the mat. Almasy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Seifer Almasy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Kim. Kim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kim keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Almasy as Kim shoots in. Kim misses with a takedown attempt - Almasy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kim gets a double leg takedown into Almasy's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Almasy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kim has gone for a leg lock! Almasy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kim's guard.
Seifer Almasy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Almasy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Almasy trying to control the position from guard on top but Kim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Almasy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kim has Almasy pulled in close to control his posture. Almasy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Almasy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kim keeping moving, preventing Almasy from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kim can't keep his opponent in guard - Almasy advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Almasy is trying to control the action in half guard but Kim is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Almasy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Almasy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kim keeps working.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kim shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Almasy but Almasy pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that's the end of the fight! Seifer Almasy showed his dominance in that final round. Well Almasy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
