Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Strange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Tickel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Tickel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Strange!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Tickel!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strange keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Strange has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Tickel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Strange takes one on the button.
Strange darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Tickel wants to control but Strange is keeping busy.
Tickel might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Strange haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tickel has control of Strange's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Strange regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Strange bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Strange cracks Tickel with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tickel tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Strange pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tickel is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
