Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuji jabs Whiteman to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Fuji fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Whiteman misses with a lunging right hand
and Fuji connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Whiteman doesn't manage to clinch there - Fuji circles away.
Whiteman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Whiteman is looking to clinch but Fuji is avoiding it.
Whiteman throws an off balance right hand
and Fuji counters with a straight right hand.
Whiteman's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fuji connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Whiteman scrambles back to his feet.
Fuji ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Whiteman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Whiteman has taken the fight to the clinch.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Whiteman.
Fuji digs a right hand underneath Whiteman's ribcage. Whiteman let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Fuji lands an uppercut.
Fuji is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Whiteman is keeping busy.
Fuji tries to work over Whiteman's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Whiteman throws an elbow but it misses.
Whiteman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fuji avoids it.

Fuji avoids the elbow strike from Whiteman, against the cage.
Whiteman is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Fuji presses Whiteman against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

A short body shot lands from Fuji as the two fighters clinch.
Fuji tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Fuji wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Whiteman has him pressed against the cage.

The cut above Chiyono Fuji's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Chiyono Fuji's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Whiteman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Fuji swings wildly with an uppercut but Whiteman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Whiteman comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chiyono Fuji's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
