Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tarik Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haji Muakbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muakbar has chosen That Punjabi Jay-Z song as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tarik Gibson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 19 - 2, fighting out of New York, Haji Muakbar! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gibson takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Tarik Gibson has been cut. Gibson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Muakbar on the side of the head. Gibson misses with a low kick.
Gibson loads up on a big right hand but Muakbar slips the punch. Muakbar lands the left hand. Muakbar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gibson. Gibson obviously looking to wear him down.
Muakbar throws a right and a left that Gibson avoids nicely. Muakbar throws a hook to the side of Gibson's head but Gibson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Good leg kick by Gibson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

This has been an exciting period of action! Muakbar throws a leg kick letting Gibson counter with a right hand. Muakbar avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Muakbar is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Gibson with a body shot. Muakbar has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Gibson moves out of range as Muakbar strikes. Gibson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Gibson throws a body punch but Muakbar moves out of range. Muakbar on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Muakbar misses with a wild body shot. Gibson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Muakbar misses with an uppercut. Gibson throws a front kick aimed at Muakbar's knee but Muakbar avoids it well. Gibson is looking to slow Muakbar down with leg kicks. Gibson takes one on the button. Muakbar misses with an uppercut
and Gibson counters with a stiff right hand. Gibson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Gibson moves out of range of the strikes. Gibson appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Muakbar misses with a looping right. Gibson slips a jab from Muakbar. Gibson ducks under a wild hook from Muakbar. Muakbar checks a leg kick nicely. Gibson lands with a cross. Gibson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Muakbar takes a swing at Gibson's ribcage but misses. Muakbar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's two minutes gone in the round. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Muakbar crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gibson - the referee stops the clock and Muakbar gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gibson. Muakbar manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Muakbar scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Muakbar swings and misses with a shot to the body and Gibson counters with a good, hard body kick but Muakbar shrugs it off. Muakbar looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Gibson throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Muakbar stuns Gibson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Gibson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Muakbar. Gibson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Muakbar sprawling to the canvas! Muakbar rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gibson finish him?!
Muakbar is rocked! Gibson moves out of range as Muakbar strikes. Muakbar is still on wobbly legs! Can Gibson finish him? Muakbar wants to slow Gibson down by chopping away at his legs. Gibson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. A head kick misses from Gibson. Gibson moves out of range as Muakbar strikes. Gibson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. It's a brutal combination of punches from Gibson! Muakbar is backing up but he can't get away as Gibson lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Muakbar and ends the fight. Great knockout.
