Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brenton Dorsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber has chosen Kanye West-Only One as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brenton Dorsey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Weber! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Weber shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dorsey's guard. Weber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Dorsey looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dorsey has his foot on Weber's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Weber works his way back into a safe position though. Dorsey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dorsey is trying to control the position but Weber postures up. Dorsey seems keen to control Weber's posture. Dorsey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dorsey looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dorsey pulls Weber in close to prevent any damage. Dorsey working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Weber has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Dorsey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Weber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dorsey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dorsey trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Weber looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Weber slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Dorsey keeping full guard, as Weber tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorsey is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Dorsey enables Weber to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dorsey manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dorsey is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Dorsey doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dorsey is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Dorsey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Dorsey looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Weber got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dorsey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Weber has managed to get both his arms back between Dorsey's legs - danger averted. Dorsey is trying to keep Weber in close.

Dorsey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Weber on his heels. He'll look to pass Weber's guard now, I'm sure. Weber trying to control the position.

Dorsey makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dorsey lands a couple of decent looking shots. Weber is breathing heavily. Weber pulls Dorsey in close to prevent any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dorsey dives in and grabs Weber's left leg, looking for a takedown. Weber pushes down on Dorsey's head and hops out. Horrible takedown attempt by Dorsey or perhaps it was just good defense by Weber, which made it look bad. Dorsey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dorsey lands in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weber wants to sweep here but Dorsey controlling him for the moment. Dorsey is working Weber over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Dorsey throws a big right hand that misses. Dorsey with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dorsey landing some decent shots from guard. Dorsey connects with a couple of short punches. Dorsey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dorsey content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Weber gets caught flat footed, as Dorsey shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dorsey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Dorsey keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Weber's head. Dorsey lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dorsey landing with the ground and pound. Dorsey stopping the sweep attempt from Weber. Dorsey has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weber looking to control but Dorsey passes into half guard.
Dorsey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Weber takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Dorsey is nestled in close to Weber, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dorsey seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dorsey is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Dorsey working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dorsey is thwarting Weber's attempts to control the position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Weber is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dorsey scores with a couple of nice shots. Dorsey seems to be looking for submissions.

Weber working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dorsey. Dorsey working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Weber's head. Weber trying to keep a closed guard but Dorsey is proving a slippery customer.
Dorsey cracks Weber with a solid left hand. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dorsey's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dorsey is looking to work some ground and pound but Weber has wrist control. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Dorsey cracks Weber with a solid left hand.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Weber throws a head kick but Dorsey moves out of range.
Dorsey has his takedown stuffed and Weber counters by clinching up. Dorsey has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Weber regains guard immediately. Brenton Dorsey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dorsey works over Weber with some ground and pound from guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Brenton Dorsey showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dorsey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
