Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
37 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Obworth! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick lands from Brown. Brown slips a straight right by Obworth. Brown lands a nice looking body kick. Obworth will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brown defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Obworth. Brown tried to score with a low kick but Obworth checks it. Obworth goes for a double leg but Brown avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Brown continues to drive forward. A solid leg kick lands there for Brown.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Obworth checks a leg kick. Obworth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Obworth scores with a shot to the body.
Jacob Obworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Brown.
Obworth misses with a wild body shot. Obworth swings and misses with a shot to the body and Brown counters with an outside leg kick.
Obworth fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away. Jim Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Obworth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Obworth dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Obworth's head and hops out. Brown thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Obworth if he has to take too many more of those.
Obworth looks winded! Obworth waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. Brown throws a low kick, looking for Obworth's leg but Obworth calmly moves out of range. Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Obworth. Obworth gets slowly back to his feet. Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Sloppy strikes from Obworth. Those never looked like landing. Brown moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Brown closes the distance and clinches. Brown lands an elbow inside that Obworth shrugs off. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Jacob Obworth has been cut. Brown gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obworth tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Brown lands an elbow inside. Brown utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A nice glancing elbow lands by Brown. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Brown obliges. Brown landing knees to the body.
Brown lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Brown lands a good knee to the midsection. Obworth won't want to take too many of those. Brown lands an elbow just above Obworth 's eye. Brown lands an elbow that stopped Obworth in his tracks for a moment. Come on Brown - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Obworth is rocked! Brown drops Obworth with a big knee straight up the middle! Obworth is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Obworth is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him? Brown darts in and clinches Obworth up against the cage. Brown comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Brown using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Brown lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Obworth takes an elbow to the forehead. Brown creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Obworth's defenses. Brown creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Obworth! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Brown.
