The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spinolio throws a series of punches but Mills moves out of range.
Mills tries to clinch up but Spinolio circles away and keeps his distance.
Mills uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Spinolio.
Mills is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Mills dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mills misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A slow jab from Spinolio misses its intended target.
Mills misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Spinolio swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mills lands a leg kick that knocks Spinolio off balance momentarily.
Spinolio drops Mills with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mills looks back up at him and smiles so Spinolio waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Bret Mills has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Spinolio scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Spinolio circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Mills to the canvas! Mills doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Spinolio keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
