The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark falls off balance throwing a combination

and Anderson counters with a takedown into side control.
Stark is trying to get back to his feet.

Anderson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stark knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stark is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Anderson is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Stark trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Anderson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stark, who protects the arm well.

Stark pushes Anderson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Anderson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Anderson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stark is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Anderson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
