Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teruo Nakamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Barnes Fuschini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Teruo Nakamura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Barnes Fuschini! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakamura will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nakamura fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fuschini, pushing him back against the cage. Fuschini tries for a takedown. No joy.
Fuschini drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Nakamura gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Fuschini jumps into guard, dragging Nakamura to the mat.
Nakamura trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fuschini's guard. Fuschini is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fuschini keeping moving, preventing Nakamura from controlling successfully. Fuschini tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuschini tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fuschini should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fuschini has a closed guard, preventing Nakamura from standing up. Fuschini has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fuschini looking for a guillotine here but Nakamura defends easily.

Fuschini working for submissions but it's allowed Nakamura to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuschini is not content to let Nakamura control the position. Fuschini is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nakamura pulls his head out easily. Fuschini is looking for a sweep. Nakamura is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fuschini looks gassed! Fuschini gets full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuschini escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nakamura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fuschini has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nakamura can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nakamura trying to control the position from guard on top but Fuschini is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Nakamura trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fuschini's guard. Fuschini isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nakamura stacks Fuschini on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nakamura!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fuschini pushes Nakamura away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nakamura gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Nakamura decides to take the fight back to the feet. Fuschini closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nakamura circles away. Teruo Nakamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Barnes Fuschini. Nakamura gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nakamura with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nakamura wants to break free but Fuschini has control.
Nakamura has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fuschini is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Barnes Fuschini will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Fuschini gets a takedown into half guard. Fuschini escapes and gets back to his feet. Fuschini gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Fuschini tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nakamura smiles and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Nakamura as Fuschini shoots in. Nakamura gets caught flat footed, as Fuschini shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fuschini postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fuschini sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nakamura's guard. Fuschini is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Nakamura has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nakamura is looking to control Fuschini's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nakamura avoid being mounted? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fuschini tries to pass to full mount but Nakamura defends it. Nakamura tries to kick Fuschini off but Fuschini keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Nakamura is defending against the submission attempts here by Fuschini.
Nakamura pushes Fuschini off looking to stand but Fuschini dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fuschini landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Fuschini is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Nakamura is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John Barnes Fuschini!
