The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Boy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tiago Nero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Boy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Nero shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Nero was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Nero creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Boy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boy avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nero.
Nero lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Boy takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Boy is rocked!

Nero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Oh Boy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nero lands a strong strike to the head of Boy. That's dazed him! Nero looking to finish here. Boy is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Nero lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
