The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ken scores with a jab to the body.
Kimura closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kimura lands in his opponent's guard.
Ken pulls Kimura in to control the position.
Ken is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kimura pushes down on Ken's leg and manages to get into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kimura is looking to work his way around to Ken's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
The referee warns Ken that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
