Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dusty Madson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Chester Man! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madson looks to score with a jab to the body but Man is just out of range. Madson misses with a low kick. Madson misses with a hook to the body
and Man makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Madson thows a left - swing and a miss! Madson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Man. Man bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. An inside leg kick from Man misses. A good leg kick by Madson. Madson throws a sloppy body shot
and Madson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Madson misses with a takedown and Man connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Madson misses the jab. Madson tries to move into range but Man moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A low kick from Madson misses and Man counters with a lovely straight right hand! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Man throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. It looked like Madson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Man connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Madson is rocked! Dusty Madson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Madson swings and misses with a shot to the body and Man counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Madson off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Man follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Madson was out before he hit the floor.
