Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie takes the fight into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Jackson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Jackson looking for a takedown.
Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie stopping the sweep attempt from Jackson.
Jackson wants to hit a switch here but Gracie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jackson there!

Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie avoids the attempt from Jackson to control.
Gracie prevents Jackson from getting the reversal.

Gracie has control of Jackson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jackson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Jackson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jackson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Jackson passes Gracie's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Gracie wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Gracie wants to improve his position but Jackson is controlling well.
Gracie tries to kick Jackson off but Jackson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Jackson passes into side control, despite Gracie's attempt to control the position.
Jackson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gracie to his feet.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gracie misses with a double jab
and Jackson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Jackson is trying to control. Gracie wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gracie is in trouble now - Jackson has advanced to mount!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Jackson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Jackson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Gracie turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Jackson off and cradles Gracie's limp body as Jackson celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Red Jackson!
