Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andy Berdich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard B Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andy Berdich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard B Riddick! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berdich has his takedown stuffed and Riddick counters with a stiff right hand. Berdich dives in and grabs Riddick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Riddick pushes down on Berdich's head and hops out. Riddick appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Riddick stuns Berdich with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Nice cross by Riddick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Berdich. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Berdich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Berdich avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Berdich misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Berdich fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Riddick avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Berdich. Riddick throws a low kick but Berdich avoids it. Riddick lunges at Berdich with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Berdich's hand. Berdich shoots in but Riddick avoids the takedown attempt easily. Riddick feints and then cracks Berdich's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Berdich down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riddick stuffs the takedown attempt from Berdich. Berdich gets slowly back to his feet. Berdich shoots in looking for a takedown. Riddick tries to sprawl out of it but Berdich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Riddick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from Riddick on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Donk. Riddick catches Berdich right on the button with a cross. Berdich looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Berdich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Riddick's guard. Berdich tries to free his leg and advance position but Riddick is retaining full guard. Berdich throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riddick looking to control.
Berdich throws a strike but Riddick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Berdich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Berdich looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Berdich is trying to control the position but Riddick postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berdich looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Riddick trying to control but Berdich is working from the bottom. Berdich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riddick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Berdich throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Riddick escapes and throws Berdich's legs to the side, diving into side control! Berdich is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berdich gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Berdich looking for submissions off his back. Riddick is trying to control. Berdich wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Berdich looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Riddick content to control rather than advance. Berdich is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Andy Berdich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Riddick is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Berdich. Berdich was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Riddick takes a swing at Berdich's ribcage but misses. Riddick waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Berdich. Berdich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riddick's waist but Riddick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Berdich off to one side. Riddick misses with a body kick. Berdich blocks the body kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Riddick lands with a straight right. Berdich didn't see that one coming. Berdich dives in and scores a takedown into Riddick's guard. Berdich postures up in Riddick's guard and throws a big left but Riddick blocks it. Berdich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riddick swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard B Riddick dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Riddick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Berdich shoots in but Riddick avoids the takedown attempt easily. A shot to the liver by Riddick. Beautiful body shot. Riddick defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Berdich. Berdich throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Riddick's waist but Riddick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Berdich off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Berdich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riddick misses with a hook. Riddick throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Berdich changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The fighters circle momentarily. Riddick darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Berdich goes for a double leg but Riddick avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Riddick continues to drive forward. Berdich fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Riddick to the ground. Berdich is now in Riddick's guard. Riddick controls Berdich momentarily but Berdich frees himself. Riddick is adopting a defensive guard. Riddick's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Riddick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berdich trying to control the position from guard on top but Riddick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Berdich postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Riddick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Berdich, into his guard. Berdich keeping moving, preventing Riddick from controlling successfully. Berdich wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berdich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Andy Berdich overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Berdich wants to hit a switch here but Riddick passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Berdich there! Berdich tries to get back to half guard but can't. Berdich is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Berdich sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Berdich wants to get back to full guard. Berdich moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Berdich wants to sweep here but Riddick controlling him for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Richard B Riddick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A telegraphed right hand from Riddick misses the target. Riddick punishes Berdich's body with a nice straight punch. Riddick misses with a straight left. Berdich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Berdich takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A chopping leg kick lands by Riddick. Riddick throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Berdich closes the distance and clinches up with Riddick, looking for a takedown. Berdich pushes Riddick against the cage but Riddick circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Berdich fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Berdich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Riddick lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice inside leg kick there by Riddick. That's going to slow Berdich down. Berdich slips a jab from Riddick. Riddick throws a leg kick which misses Berdich's front leg but catches the back leg as Berdich tries to avoid it. Berdich with a poor takedown and Riddick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Riddick gets in close and instigates a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Riddick lands with a short shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riddick lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Berdich is rocked! Riddick lands a shoulder strike. Oh Berdich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Riddick has Berdich pressed against the cage. He pushes Berdich back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Riddick throws a beautiful elbow that sends Berdich crashing to the floor! Riddick piles on the pressure with more strikes! Berdich is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard B Riddick! A very excited looking Richard B Riddick made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
