Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philip Gunines! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mclean shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gunines manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mclean throwing strikes from guard but Gunines blocks nicely. Mclean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gunines is trying to keep Mclean in close.
Gunines is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Gunines utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mclean trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mclean really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gunines has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mclean can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mclean postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunines keeping moving, preventing Mclean from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mclean chips away with some ground and pound. Mclean preventing the sweep. Gunines is trying to control the position but Mclean postures up. Mclean got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gunines has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mclean has managed to get both his arms back between Gunines's legs - danger averted. Gunines working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mclean. Gunines has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Mclean doesn't defend quickly enough and Gunines has managed to lock this one up! Can Mclean escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gunines on a fantastic submission victory.
