Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malcom is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Fitzgerald looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Malcom looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fitzgerald tries to roll over but Malcom keeps him under control.
Malcom wants to take a breather but Fitzgerald is having none of it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malcom stalling away here and it's allowed Fitzgerald to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Malcom is looking to work some ground and pound but Fitzgerald has wrist control.

Fitzgerald can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Malcom controls the pace.
Fitzgerald has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Malcom should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fitzgerald has tightened it up now! Malcom should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
