Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Martin Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vernon Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Sanderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vernon Turner! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanderson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turner misses the shot to the body. Turner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Turner connects with a nice short shot to Sanderson's temple. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turner lands a nice short elbow. Sanderson is looking to control Turner's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sanderson avoid being mounted? Turner is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Turner slows the pace down in half guard. Turner prevents Sanderson from improving his position. Turner landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Turner is controlling the pace.
Sanderson is trying to stand up here but Turner is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanderson tries to get to full guard but Turner has control of the leg. Turner drops an elbow to the side of Sanderson's head. Sanderson has hold of Turner's hands but Turner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
It looks like Martin Sanderson has been cut. Turner looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nice strikes from Turner there. Turner looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sanderson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ground and pound from Turner. Turner with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. I looks like Turner might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Turner seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
