Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Napoleon Bonaparte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killer Kawalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Napoleon Bonaparte has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Napoleon Bonaparte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Killer Kawalski! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonaparte takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bonaparte tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kawalski paws at him with a jab and circles away. Bonaparte shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kawalski as he jumps to the side. Bonaparte fails to land the takedown. Bonaparte clinches up against the cage. Kawalski lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Napoleon Bonaparte has been cut. Bonaparte working hard to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kawalski is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Bonaparte jumps guard and drags Kawalski to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bonaparte holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bonaparte wants to improve his position but instead Kawalski has moved into half guard.
Bonaparte keeping hold of Kawalski's head, controlling as best he can. Kawalski prevents Bonaparte from improving his position. Kawalski seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kawalski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bonaparte does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kawalski wants to get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kawalski misses with the combination.
Bonaparte wants to clinch. Kawalski slaps away a takedown attempt from Bonaparte, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Napoleon Bonaparte. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bonaparte rushes Kawalski and presses him up against the cage. Bonaparte is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kawalski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bonaparte avoids the elbow strike from Kawalski, against the cage.

Bonaparte wants to sweep here but Kawalski controlling him for the moment. Kawalski wants to pass the guard but Bonaparte is keeping the position.

Bonaparte can't keep his opponent in guard - Kawalski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kawalski is looking to advance position but Bonaparte won't allow it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bonaparte is looking to improve his position.

Killer Kawalski dominated that round. The cut man is working on Napoleon Bonaparte's cut. That's time! Bonaparte's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Kawalski slaps away a takedown attempt from Bonaparte, before circling back to the center of the mat. Bonaparte shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kawalski pinned against the cage. Kawalski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kawalski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bonaparte fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kawalski changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kawalski punishes Bonaparte's body with a nice straight punch. Bonaparte looks for a takedown but Kawalski sprawls well.

Napoleon Bonaparte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kawalski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Bonaparte. Kawalski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bonaparte shoots in for a takedown but Kawalski shows good takedown defense. Bonaparte clinches up against the cage. Bonaparte managing to block the knees to the body from Kawalski.

Bonaparte takes a knee to the side of the body. Bonaparte is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Our sources have told us that Bonaparte has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Kawalski throws an elbow that misses.

Kawalski crunches a lovely knee into Bonaparte's ribcage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Kawalski just misses with a elbow thrown towards Bonaparte's brow. Kawalski comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice glancing elbow lands by Kawalski. Bonaparte decides to pull guard. Kawalski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kawalski wants to control from the top but Bonaparte keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kawalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bonaparte swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kawalski trying to control but Bonaparte is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonaparte wants to stand but Kawalski is controlling the position. Bonaparte throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bonaparte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kawalski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kawalski clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Killer Kawalski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Napoleon Bonaparte's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Kawalski pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Killer Kawalski seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Kawalski creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Bonaparte goes for a takedown attempt but Kawalski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Napoleon Bonaparte's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
