The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman shoots for a double leg takedown but Gastelum sprawls well. He's pushed Grossman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A left and a right from Gastelum both land. Nice combination.
Nice uppercut there from Gastelum.
Grossman misses with a takedown attempt - Gastelum sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Grossman has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Grossman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gastelum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Grossman is trying to get an arm triangle but Gastelum is defending well.
Gastelum tries to escape but Grossman is in control.
Grossman works to advance to full mount. Gastelum defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Grossman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Grossman fails to advance to Gastelum's back.
Gastelum is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grossman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gastelum is on top in guard.
Gastelum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grossman on the ground.

Grossman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gastelum gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gastelum is posturing up here but Grossman has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Gastelum tries to roll out but it's too tight and Gastelum has to tap! Slick submission there by Grossman!
