The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Dwayne Deneal has been cut.

Matlock tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Deneal manages to circle out of the way.

Matlock cracks Deneal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Dwayne Deneal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Deneal goes for a double leg but Matlock avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Matlock continues to drive forward.

After the fight, Dean Matlock was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
