Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sanford Fanning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ram Man Rijal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Sanford Fanning has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Sanford Fanning seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fanning looks to land a left hand but Rijal moved out of range nicely.
Fanning looks to land a right hand but Rijal moved out of range.
Rijal appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Rijal tries to keep at a distance but Fanning has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rijal pulls guard effortlessly.
Rijal looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rijal has his foot on Fanning's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fanning works his way back into a safe position though.
Fanning might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Fanning wants to stand but Rijal has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rijal looking for a triangle here. Fanning is fighting it but it looks tight! Rijal pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Fanning is tapping out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking Ram Man Rijal thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
