Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Liquer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Dogg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dogg has chosen Kickstart My Heart as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Liquer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ron Dogg! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dogg tries to clinch up but Liquer circles away and keeps his distance. Liquer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Liquer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dogg dives in and grabs Liquer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Liquer pushes down on Dogg's head and hops out. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dogg has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Dogg with a poor takedown and Liquer counters with a series of strikes. Dogg will be more careful next time no doubt. Dogg misses with the combination.
Dogg doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Liquer to counter with a crisp jab. John Liquer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ron Dogg. Dogg has his takedown stuffed and Liquer counters with a lovely shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liquer connects with a jab. Dogg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dogg tries to free his leg and advance position but Liquer is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dogg trying to control the position from guard on top but Liquer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dogg stands and steps away. Liquer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Dogg tries for a takedown but Liquer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Liquer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dogg shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Liquer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Dogg taking a breather here. Liquer tries to escape but Dogg is in control. Liquer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dogg wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Dogg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Liquer keeps working. Liquer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liquer tries to get out of the position. Liquer tries to escape but Dogg is in control. Dogg trying to control the position but Liquer is working away.

Dogg trying to control the action but Liquer is working from the bottom. Dogg cracks Liquer with an elbow. That is naaassty. Dogg is looking to take a break and control but Liquer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Liquer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dogg on the ground. Dogg tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Liquer can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dogg looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Liquer is looking to regain half guard here but Dogg keeps moving and retains side control. Dogg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Liquer keeps working. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. Dogg is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Liquer's shoulder. That is not cool. Dogg stands up and we're back to a striking position. Dogg with a poor takedown and Liquer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Dogg is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ron Dogg will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dogg misses with a takedown and Liquer scores with a counter punch that sends Dogg to the canvas! Liquer smells blood - he's punishing Dogg with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dogg has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Liquer! A relieved looking John Liquer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
